PowerNotes sought to modernize its aging AWS architecture,
eliminate manual deployment steps, and improve microservices
reliability. They had outgrown legacy EC2 and EKS-based
architecture. Manual deployments across micro-services, including
APIs, OCR, sync, comments, and files created unnecessary risk and
overhead. They need to eliminate manual orchestration, improve
service isolation and uptime.

Manifold used a data-first approach, deploying services via Cloud Run
and Compute Engine, migrating databases to Cloud SQL and
MongoDB Atlas, and automating deployment with Cloud Build.
Manifold implemented a full-stack migration over ~22 days by
providing demo & production environments independently, tested
everything with local data, and performed DNS cutovers with under 10
minutes of downtime.

PowerNotes now runs fully in Google Cloud with native CI/CD
pipelines, isolated staging & production environments with global
reach, simplified infrastructure management, enhanced scalability and
observability.
